Naked Mary was one of the bands I seen the most in my late teens. I met them through mutual High School friends and traveled to The Village Gate in NYC to see their second show. Armed with my video camera I filmed them and I think I became somewhat of a groupie right from the start. Over the years these were probably some of the best times I had was with friends going to see them perform. Whether if it was outside in a backyard/park or traveling to see them play in Brooklyn or NYC it was something I looked forward too. It also exposed me to so many local bands which i still listen to all these demos to this day.
They started off more of some would say alternative/grunge I would say for that time period. Then they moved into some really incredible ahead of its time Underground experimental. Hopefully if you get a chance to listen you might find some songs to get hooked on.
