The search has begun. We hit up the Upper Valley Humane Society in Enfield yesterday. Even though I was hanging out with Dougie (The Resident Bunny) most of the time I was there I also got to meet Tubby. Here's the description from the website...
"Hi! Here at UVHS, they call me Tubby (although I personally think that I should be called something more dignified, like King Tubs or President Fluffypaws). I'm a pretty good-looking guy, don't you think? My fans are especially fond of my great big paws (I have a thumb!) and the striking white tip of my tail. I try not to let my good looks go to my head, though. The staff says I can be a little shy in new places, but I think that everyone just needs a good friend to show them the ropes. My favorite thing in the world is probably sitting on laps, and I like to show my appreciation by purring and giving you kisses! Cats and dogs might be okay, as long as they don't detract from my human time. My friends here are nice, but I think I'm ready to move on to my forever home--hopefully one with more laps where I can get the cuddles I deserve!"
Yes that sums it up. He was so friendly and chill. Too bad he was on hold. This portly little chap would've fit in nicely at our home. And the search continues......
