In my younger years I would never eat salads or vegetables. I remember going to restaurants and never clearing my plate of whatever vegetables occupied it. When they asked me if if I wanted a side salad I would say no thanks. Even when I would get a burger deluxe the first thing that would go off the plate would be the lettuce and tomato ( Until I started telling them NO LETTUCE AND TOMATO!).
Things have changed dramatically once I got older. I crave steamed or roasted Veggies and look forward to a big salad. I wouldn't say this is the healthiest salad to eat but these Chopped Salad Kits put out from Dole are like Crack. A blend of Kale, Green & Red Cabbage, Romaine, Green Onions and Carrots with a side bag of crunchy bits depending on the kit and a tasty dressing to pour on top makes my night and also is a fast dinner option.
