Little by little I'm adding games to my Wii U collection. Since I'm still waiting for my Injustice game to arrive from Amazon.com I decided to use the gift card I received for Christmas and purchase Super Mario 3D World at Gamestop. I might be one of the only person out of all my friends that really didn't enjoy Super Mario 64 which was making me hesitant in purchasing another 3D Mario game but this one looked more true to the 2D side scrollers. I am actually pleased with this version from the get go. It took me a few minutes to get used to the controllers and how to jump on the enemies without losing my power ups. (I just let them come to me and jump on them at the last second) I can tell I'm going to be going back into the worlds a lot to find the Green stars because they are essential to be able to enter the castle. Something you learn when you try to enter it. I'm digging going through the clear pipes and using the right joystick to change around the camera angles. I only made it through the first world so far and Bowser was a fun battle lets see how the other worlds treat me. Knowing me I will start getting frustrated real quick.
