So I picked up Justice League War on DVD last night and here is my first thoughts. F'n Awesome. Now I never read the New 52 storyline but I know this animated feature is based off that story line. How do I know this you ask because it says it right on the back of the god damn DVD. I love the interaction with Batman and Green Lantern. Even though they make the Green Lantern a total idiot ... wait they kinda make Wonder Woman kinda oblivious also. So basically those two characters I kinda was like eh about. Superman and Batman of course were bad ass together. I Love that Batman called out most of the characters secret identities so they were baffled as F*&k and afterwards they were still like this dude don't have any super powers. I also was amazed how they had Cyborg transform his deformed mangled body into a alien/tech cyborg body. Darkseid was a surprise for me because he hasn't really entered the DC movies yet. Evil as F*&k I tell ya.
Even though I read a lot of reviews about how this animated movie sucked. Yeah I love the original story lines.. I also wish the Martian Manhunter was in this but it is a Story Arc and it has to change and be somewhat current. Get off your damn high horses and appreciate the story lines. I still will they would do a blackest night animated but hopefully that would come soon enough. Also a Marvel ZOMBIES Animated please.
