When I moved into my house I wanted to get a new dyson vacuum cleaner. I had one for my apartment and it was great for cleaning up the animal hair (which was plenty)and easy to maintain. I wound up picking one up actually, the same model, the animal and haven't had a problem for three years now until this past Friday . Something stupid broke on it . A little plastic clip that hooks the hose to the attachments such as the wand and other small doodads. I thought it wasn't that important until I tried using the floor part. Without that little plastic piece locking in the hose the bottom floor part doesn't activate.
I called customer service after I wrote down the serial number and model number and was extremely happy with the service I got, thank god I registered it because my address was already in the system and since it has a 5 year warranty I got the part I needed for free with free shipping. Even though it's a whole new hose it's still pretty cool that they do that for their customers with no hassle. I think the money was well spent on this purchase.
