Around the block from me just opened a Asian market/Cafe. It is in a warehouse that doesn't look to inviting from the outside. The first week it was opened I saw a sign but was hesitant to approach especially since I was unsure of which door to enter. They finally have a bunch of signs up now which makes it more clear where to enter, plus what hours they are open, so I figured I'd give it a whirl. Upon entering I was enamored by the size of the market but the selection was very slim for the location. There's always room to grow. So I figured I'd grab some lunch and saw they had my favorite curry on the menu plus Thai iced teas.... Always a make it or break it moment for me. As the food was being prepared I scouted out the selection of frozen and refrigerated foods. Very exotic ice pops got my utmost attention. Never seen a durian ice pop before.
In no time my Masaman curry was ready and packed up in a to go container. I headed home promptly to devour it. So much flavor between the meal and the beverage. I am so happy this place now exists and I'm pretty sure once they get a full blown kitchen installed, the menu will probably get more items, but for now I think I'll be satisfied thoroughly with trying out the current selections
